The room was so clean, bed was super comfy and lovely in-room supplies. However, it was a hot day and the room trapped heat so be prepared to be warm if you go during the summer

Note that the compact double rooms are "lower ground" - not mentioned on Expedia. Clean rooms with a practical location - some aircon would really be ideal, especially as downstairs was much hotter than upstairs

Ideal for concert at new ARC venue Olympia. Very nice room but no a/c so was very hot overnight even with supplied fan. Easy access using phone to enter room. Overall very good.

The location was great, very easy to access the room, good communication etc. It was let down by the terrible state of the carpets in the communal areas and hallways - it was disgusting. There was no AC and during a heatwave meant that I didn’t sleep a wink as the room turned into a sauna!

The app/website used to unlock room door and main front door was easy to use and helpful The front lobby area, staircases and corridors had carpet that was stained throughout, not a great first impression, but the room was nice overall, especially for the price in London on an event day

Room was ok, but entire building was ridiculously hot. Spoke to staff who mentioned this was due to a heatwave? I wouldn’t book again in summer as the windows do not open very far at all and heat in building is unbearable.

Very noisy! Could hear every conversation from your room of people in hallway then the lift was unnecessarily loud as it made a beeping noise everytime someone got in or out. The whole building was so hot but it was an okay budget stay for 2 nights

These compact rooms boast good design and a clean, economical layout, and that was true for the most part. However, the bathroom requires serious gymnastics just to sit on the toilet, as the sink in room 6 is positioned so close that it presses against your chest. This is not merely poor design, it verges on a code violation. Someone was clearly not paying close enough attention during construction. That said, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the heating worked very well.

There are no staff at all in this property so if there is an issue you need to message them only. Check in is not smooth if you dont have data or a phone with no battery, as their model is all dependant on digital technology…if your phone has no battery your not getting in your room!!!!!!! No air con either makes it a hot and stuffy room in the summer, nice room otherwise!

Great location and exceptionally clean room. Perfect for my stay. The only downside was the last night patrons across from the room and the floor below slamming doors, running up and down the stairs, playing loud music and making so much noise into 4 AM, treating the establishment like a fraternity dorm. The downside of such a hotel is that it’s impossible to address rowdy patrons as it happens. This situation notwithstanding the rooms were perfect for my stay.

The room was a lot smaller than expected, as soon as you walked into the hotel it was like coming off a plane the heat just hit you, unfortunately no air con so it was really difficult to sleep. A fan was provided but due to the heat of the room, was just blowing out hot air. Additional to this we went to buy cold drinks to keep in the room but the fridge was hot and not cold, tried adjusting the temperature of this but nothing worked. The room was clean however does need an update with paint. We did also notice that the bed was in fact not new sheets as there were bobbles on the sheets already and this was before we had even slept in the bed. We did have an error with breakfast which wasn’t the hotels fault but actually Expedia which we are still trying to resolve. If you’re looking for a budget hotel, this is definitely what it is but be warned that there are a lot better options to choose. For us it was convenient that the station was less than a 5 minute walk.
