Lovely hotel, easy check in and check out. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice quiet room. Lots of cafes and restaurants along the high street, some offer a 10% discount for guests at the hotel. Would stay again!

The staff were very friendly, helpful and communicated well. As i was arriving later, they left my key in a lock box, with full instructions - they phoned and followed up by text. The hotel was very quiet and close to lots of lovely cafes, eateries and convenience stores. I Would definitely stay again. Parking is available opposite for 1.70 overnight until 8am.

Enjoyed time away

A nice place to get away for a bit. Was a bit disappointed that my room overlooked the scrapyard and so it was noisy at times but other than that, it was just what I needed for a couple of days. Staff were friendly and willing to help when needed.

The hosts were great but the rooms were like staying in a hostel. The heating for the room was only put on when we arrived so it was freezing everywhere. The towels were so hard. The curtains had been trimmed with scissors very badly and the window handle fell off when I tried to open it. The beds were comfortable though.

The hotel is pleasant. The rooms are clean and nice as are the bathrooms. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the train station (which takes you to London). There are cafes and bars on the same street and it is a pleasant area to walk around. The hotel staff is only there for a short amount of time each day and there is no breakfast (though there are plenty of options for breakfast within a minute's walk of the hotel).
