Had items stolen from my room. Nothing big so didn’t bother saying anything, but a nice fountain pen which clips to my note book which I’ve had for years was left clipped to my note book in the room. This was suddenly gone with a 4 pack of gum. - Had to catch a train so no point raising, items were not misplaced or forgotten elsewhere.

Check in was simple and esay. Room was clean, and cleaned daily by friendly staff. Towels were replaced every day. Bathroom was showing a lot of signs of neglect. Toilet seat not fixed, so moved when you sat on it (even after asking for it to be fixed) which made it awkward as toilet positioned in a very confined space, a few tiles were cracked, very dirty and dusty behind the sink unit and rust on the radiator. Also, there was nowhere to hang the bath towels after use. Breakfast was adequate, but a bit bland. Staff prepared toast and left it in piles, so was cold when you got to eat it. Only full fat milk available for cereal, a choice including semi and skimmed milk would be better. Staff were helpful. Great location for Paddington station and plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. Also, great position to visit Hyde Park.

Honestly i was underwhelmed. Staff on reception seemed completely disinterested. Lift wasn't working and i was up in the roof space. Place had very little to offer

+ Single room ok size and relatively clean + Good bathroom size, towels & hairdryer + Wardrobe with hangers + Good location + Breakfast in price but had to leave early so did not use and cannot comment - No hot water (not a drop!) - Very noisy - you can hear everyone running up and down the stairs and snoring next door/room above & traffic - Bed pretty uncomfortable - Needs some TLC - Staff was ok but could be more proactive in assisting/answering basic questions

The Hotel is in a very good spot close to Paddington station, in general everything is fine, but... the elevator isn't working and the stairs are not safe enough specially the stairs going to the 4th floor, they are small and steep, barely enough space to carry a small suitcase up there.
