Staff was courteous & very helpful. Would definitely book again next time. Rooms & hotel was newly renovated. Only hope that floors was cleaned a bit better. Had clumps of dust floating around on walking areas. Can easily see dust in corners & furniture legs. Rest of the room was clean. Restroom was immaculate.

The room was great.... the staff was INCREDIBLE!! We were there for a launch and they got us all the updated info and were both just wonderful.... Paige was on before 11 and I forgot the woman's name that was on all night - but they both were fabulous! the restaurant is a real bonus... great food - again lovely staff. Never imagined ever being in Lompoc - but this was a real surprise and gem!! If ever in this area again would definitely stay!! thank you...

The Village Inn has a very retro feel, but has recently been renovated and everything is clean and modern. The spacious grounds have more the feeling of a resort than a typical hotel or motel. Instead of going to Dave's Place for breakfast, we bought cinnamon rolls and muffins at the front desk and enjoyed them on our patio with the free coffee that was served in the lobby. The location is very convenient just off Rt 1 just north of Lompoc. The only disappointment was the dinner we ordered at Dave's Place. We weren't all that hungry, so we ordered the happy hour nachos, but the chips were a bit too thin to hold the toppings, and the toppings were way too saucy. We also ordered the Italian Chopped Salad, but it had too much dressing on it which made it soggy as well. We also ordered the clam chowder, but that was good. We definitely want to go back to Village Inn again and revisit Dave's Place, but this time order off the dinner menu. The food we saw being delivered to other tables looked good. BTW, corkage is $20 if you want to bring your own wine. I have a feeling that the Village Inn will be our go-to hotel from now on when we are up in the area.

Our trip was amazing up untill check out day, we stayed here for almost a month, so in that time we collected some things so we knew that it was going to take a minute to get is out of the room. So we started the day before come check out day I called to get a late check out ( I thought like 3 or something like that but it was a hour from regular time 11) worked as hard as we could to get it done but we had a bunch of stuff and dogs. Keep the front informed. Out last couple loads is where it ruined it for me the general manager came knocking on the door like he was the f-ing police when I went to the door he was all kinds of rude. Looking a his watch huffing telling me " I need a time frame" I told him we were working as hard as we could to get out so they could have the room back he told me "30 more minutes" I knew that was not going to happen because we still had at least 2 or 3 loads to go. We were working with a little car and nothing else. So it would fill up quickly. So we ran 1 more load and went back. Filled up the car with as much as it would take and the husband ran that load while I stayed with the dogs. Once again knock knock like the police. It was him I profusely apologized for taking so long but we were there for a month. Well he didn't even say anything looked at his watch and walked away. That's not customer service, we keep them informed and moved as quickly as we could. We paid very good money to be there and right at the end treated like crap.
