As a solo traveler who wanted to stay in Alfama, this was the ideal spot for me. The room was clean, staff was friendly and when I needed something, they immediately took care of it. We booked the budget room as we weren’t planning on spending that much time there as it was a city break and was going to be out all day. But you do get what you pay for, everything you need was there but no frills, the place was clean but smaller than expected and we found the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Also if you have mobility issues it’s a no go as lots steps to get to the apartments.

I was so impressed and happy with this place going to leave a review. We had the room with the gummy bear art work :) it was awesome. The place was stocked with every little thing needed, even ear plugs at bedside in case too noisy- though I found it to quiet down alright. As others mentioned, they do charge for any extras, which was fine since we were only there for 2 nights. Only thing was they charged 20 euros to check in at 1pm instead of 3, but we went for it just to get in the room. Location was awesome, the property, the room, cleanliness. Really happy with our stay.
