We (elderly-ish couple) stayed 20-22 Sept 2025 in a standard double room. The bed was very large and comfortable. The hotel is situated on a moderately busy road but, apart from the occasional ambulance/police car, traffic noise was not a problem.

We chose this hotel last minute after arriving to our other Expedia-rented apartment, only to find that it was double-booked on AirBnB. As we had booked many months in advance, you can imagine we were quite upset. We chose New Styles for the price and I am so grateful we made this decision. The staff were *incredible*. Unfortunately, in our 12 hours staying there, I managed to slip on the sidewalk and injured myself quite badly. The staff was so kind, so supportive, in helping us get to the hospital. Their kindness was desperately needed after such a hard day. Thank you to the two gentlemen who helped us during our brief stay. Your kindness will not be forgotten.

The New Style hotel was a good option for a two night stay in Lisbon. The hotel is clean and modern with a friendly and helpful staff. It is also very close to the metro to access everything in Lisbon but also walkable if you're up for it. Rooms were small but comfortable and the breakfast buffet was well stocked with warm and cold options. I would stay again.

This hotel is really nice! The rooms are beautiful and quiet despite being in a noisy part of town. The breakfast was great. It’s a couple of blocks out of the tourist part which can be good and bad. Good because the tourist throng doesn’t hit you the minute you step foot on the street. Not so good which you see a ton of graffiti and a few scary people if I ventured to the side streets. don’t get me wrong, I definitely recommend it!

Hotel was nice and the breakfast was pretty good. Only thing I didn’t like was the smell in the room. It reminded me of cat urine! But I am guessing that it was just a cleaning product? Probably worth reviewing the cleaning product as that is not an enticing smell to have in a hotel room!
