People should not stay here! We stayed in a cottage. It looked nice initially, even with the dated furniture but then we realized the couch was really junk, and it sagged terribly. We saw a space heater was heating the cottage. That's awful because it didn't keep the place warm. We tried turning it up but it wouldn't go higher. We froze all night and in the morning. Then when I used a hair dryer, the circuit tripped and we had no power, so no heat. Nobody was available to fix anything. Stay at your own risk!

The room wasn't very clean. There was a spiderweb in the corner, and the room was overall very dusty. Some hair in the tub, and the sink took forever to drain. The water pressure was great, and the beds were fine. Thin comforters that looks like they haven't been washed in a while.

When we entered the room, it had an almost suffocating odor similar to the odor of other low-cost motels. This odor, however, would not go away, even with three windows open. The day after we left, I put on a short that I had worn in that room. It still stank of that room. The bed was comfortable, the water was hot and plentiful, but I will never go there again.

Not sure how this property can charge the amount they do - perhaps taking advantage of the season. This is a necessity stop hotel, not a vacation hotel. This is a brush your teeth go to bed get up go back to work stop. Very disappointed. Staff very nice but not what we were looking forward to.

The room was relatively quiet, I could walk to dinner at two restaurants, the tv had lots of channels and the WiFi was relatively strong (89/20) for being in a rural area. There was a fridge if you wanted it and plenty of hot water. The downsides were the furniture and bed were a little dated, and the tub seemed to have a lot of wear and tear on it (but seemed clean). Convenient to Franconia Notch SP, especially Flume Gorge, the Basin, and Canon Mountain.

It's an older property but appropriately priced. Accommodation in general is expensive in the area and this is one of the more affordable options. The hot water and AC work well, the rooms are clean. I have stayed here several times when I drive up to do day hikes in the area.

The staff member in the office was friendly and immediately available. There were clean towels provided each day and the shower was hot. Apart from that I cannot say anything positive. The building is in a state of disrepair. The room was damp - I awoke with tight lungs. This place needs fixing up. I'm shocked that Expedia have this motel available - I always trust Expedia, but will be using another website from now on.

The motel was filthy and there was no service. My friend and myself reported the motel To Franconia Board of health due to both of use being exposed to Scabies which is a highly contagious condition. I would like to be reimbursed for this stay in full. You should remove this motel from your site so no one else experiences what we have!!!!

Great stay

This was a very comfortable stay. Clean, quiet, and easily accessible as well. The TV didn't have volume when I turned it on but after I told the office the manager came right away, did a restart of the device, and it worked again. I was able to park right next to my room and I liked how the motel looked on the outside, too. It's a short, simple drive into town while being removed from any distractions. The price is right, too, and the manager friendly. I would gladly stay again.
