The hotel is excellent, the owner is very nice and will make sure to pick you up at the airport even when I came in at 1:30 in the morning, and it is well worth the small fee he charged, you won't get a taxi that price, you have to realize you are at a place that doesn't charge a lot of money, but it is clean, the owner will take you and pick you up for a great price if you have a tour, just make arrangements ahead of time,his English is great so no worries about language, good restaurants around and very safe

Denis was an incredible host! He was right there at the airport to pick me up with a sign bearing my name. He made a wonderful fresh breakfast for his guests the next morning and took me to the Larco Museum the next day. He brought me back to the airport at 0430 with a smile when I had to depart! Please understand that this is a basic room, but that was all I needed. He was very nice.

Great room close to the airport, was perfect to sleep in the night, between our flights. The owner came to pick us up at the airport, for 30 soles. The room was very clean, nice bathroom, and felt very safe. Hospitality was great! Would definitely go back again when needed.

Dennis waited and picked me up from the airport. He suggested nearby places to eat at late hour. The accommadations are clean and inviting. Everything is in its right place. I recommend if you want to stay close to the airport.

Denis is a very nice guy that has good recommendations. He waited patiently at the airport. There was light and a bit noisy to sleep, so wear earplugs. Have a ride to and from the airport which was convenient. Would recommend if you need to stay near the airport

Reservation was straightforward via Hotels.com website, booked single room for $19 USD for 7 hr overnight layover at LIM. Chakana Family messaged pickup avail for $30sol, so I booked for round trip. Whatsapp'ed w Denis for delayed pickup due to very long passport control line, no problems. Place located 15 min from airport parking, definitely too far to walk. Room was small & basic, gen clean several discarded condom wrappers under the bed. Had small fan which kept room tolerable. Denis dropped back to LIM next AM, no issues. Basically got what I paid for. May try out sleeping cabins at airport next time.

A Wonderful Stay at Chakana Family Home I had a fantastic experience staying at Chakana Family Home in Callao, Peru. Deniss, the owner, was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable. He helped with everything I needed, from arranging transportation to recommending great local food spots. Deniss was always available and willing to assist with anything I required. The room itself was clean and safe and provided a peaceful atmosphere, making me feel right at home. The hospitality and warmth of Deniss made my stay extra memorable. If you're looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay in Callao, I highly recommend Chakana Family Home. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area!
