Retired winegrowers (Château des Correaux located a stone's throw away, family estate since 1803 run by their son in "reasoned viticulture" / tasting & visit possible by reservation), Marie-Edith & Jean welcome you to a lovely authentic winegrowers' house from the 19th century, carefully restored, nestled at the edge of an alley in a small wine-growing hamlet nestled in the very heart of the bucolic vineyards of the famous Saint-Véran cru (among other local productions), in the hollow of the gentle valley of Arlois ( the only one in Burgundy which, due to its geological particularity, produces both white, rosé & red wines from southern Burgundy and northern Beaujolais). A stone's throw from the picturesque town of Leynes, a charming typical and perfectly preserved village of the Côtes Mâconnaises (Romanesque church from the 12th century, several castles, beautiful carefully restored historic residences, washhouses, etc.), perched in an amphitheater under the wooded ridges of a small forest protected in the "Natura 2000" zone, at the foot of a vast wild forest massif. Magnificent soft mountain setting offering sublime panoramas & landscapes (on a clear day you can make out the Alps, the Vercors, up to Mont-Blanc from its heights).
