The rooms were clean, the hostess for the dinning room and the bar area was not quite as helpful as she could be We had placed an order in the bar area but after 25 minutes the food was not ready. I told her our problem and she indicated that she could not help us. I found that extremely rude and not helpful in the least

Outside is gorgeous. Inside…nope! Old carpet, beds, linens. Dust and dirt caked around bed on carpet. Hair in tub, shower. Paper thin walls/adjoining doors permit one to hear EVERY. SINGLE. NOISE. We had our 11 yo w/us. Couple next door were up all night. Use your imagination. Never again!

We enjoyed our stay, feeling a bit sad to leave, the staff was professional, kind, helpful, and gentle in goodness provides service like family would give. So much to see and do, we are really considering coming for a longer stay. There was Music, Lights, Families, happy greetings, strolling in the evenings, that carefree feeling of belonging.

Return visitor, but even taking into account the history of the hotel, the rooms are becoming increasingly tired. No hot water in the room & reception were completely unhelpful 'oh they should have told you that at check-in'.....seriously! Floyd in the main bar rescued the visit somewhat though, as he is always super helpful & good fun.
