We had such a wonderful stay in Laurel. The home was spotless, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing Mother’s Day getaway. The location made it easy to explore downtown, and we loved being a short walk away from all of the HGTV famous spots. The host was kind, responsive & made everything feel effortless. The place was decorated so adorably.

My sister and I were thrilled with this quaint VRBO. Our host Rose has anticipated everything we might need. The cottage is decorated so nicely we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The cottage is located so close to town you can walk to restaurants. Our host Rose sent me easy to follow instructions, she made our stay very pleasant. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Laurel. Thanks Rose!

We had such a great time and it was nice to come to the house and relax. When looking for a place I was looking for something with an actual kitchen. I saw the pictures and said oh it is a minimal kitchen which we could do. Then I saw the closing up instructions and saw please load dishwasher so I think I told myself there was more of kitchen just no picture. I would maybe make a very clear statement that there is no actual kitchen. I would also let people know that the mattresses are memory foam. We both struggled to move throughout the night but most of all to get out of the bed was extremely difficult. The mattresses literally suck you into a hole. We are not mad about it - we laughed about it we just want you to know they are difficult mattresses. Overall we have no complaints! We loved our time. We appreciate that it is pet friendly! Thank you for everything!

The house was clean, inviting, and even more beautiful in person. We stayed Saturday through Tuesday and found the location quiet and convenient. Landscaping crews came briefly Monday morning at 6:30 a.m., but otherwise the area was peaceful. Many local businesses are closed or have limited hours on Sunday and Monday, so dinner options were a bit limited. We traveled with our small dog, and the area was great for walks. It felt very pet‑friendly and easy to manage. The kitchenette was cute and cozy, with a Keurig, coffee pods, creamer, bottled water, plates, plasticware, and Styrofoam cups. The fridge is small but has an attached freezer. I didn’t find paper towels, even though they were listed as an amenity. Both bedrooms were nicely decorated and larger than expected. The bed was decent and had plenty of pillows. The bathroom is small but well laid out. The only downside was the shower with lukewarm water (even when turned all the way to hot), low water pressure, and an overhead shower head.WiFi worked well, and the linens, towels, hair dryer, and ironing supplies were all provided. There were several sample toiletries, though I didn’t care for the scent. The listing mentions being across from HGTV’s Bird Dog Café, but it has been closed for almost two years. Still, it was fun being near a home Erin and Ben remodeled.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable and welcomed. The home was thoughtfully prepared, and we would happily stay again.
