Disliked: Cleanliness
The pictures online do not even begin to show this rental’s true colors. The property is extremely run down, security in and around the home needs to be reevaluated as well as the cleanliness. For example, the stair railing falls short by 3 steps at the top landing. All of us were in our late 60’s to mid 70’s who rely on a stairway handrails. There was no life preserver near the pool and when the door to the stove is open, the entire appliance slightly falls forward. Once burning the leg of on of my traveling companions. We had to wash dishes and utensils before they could be used with watered down dish soap. But then the soap dispensers in each bathroom were water down and the bottles were broken. TV in the family section of the house wasn’t working so we could enjoy a movie night. When I notified the owner he told me how to turn it on, yet it still didn’t work. His response was then I don’t know what to tell you. Well when it says there is no signal, something’s missing, maybe the box it should hook up to like the 2 tvs upstairs. And be very careful when using the dryer since when a shirt was placed in the dryer came out with large holes. If we had another place to go, we would have. The only good thing I can say was the location suited our needs and accommodate the number of people we had. Will we be back… no way! This house needs some serious cleaning and basic upkeep.
