The staff were all amazing! They were very helpful, professional, and friendly.
The property was beautiful and the rooms were so comfortable, delightfully decorated, and spacious!
Before guests arrive for a wedding and rain is predicted confirm that each room has umbrellas.Umbrellas are needed to walk to the ceremony and reception center and back to the room in downpours.
Our room was great, but the waiter or waitress didn't take our food order after we were there for 25 minutes. We had a couples massage and my person wouldn't apply firm pressure despite that I had asked her politely to do so several times during the massage so that was upsetting. I did reduce the upfront 21% tip afterward to account for that. I've been here many times and despite the above issues on this last stay I would still recommend the hotel and I do plan to visit again down the road.
We absolutely loved our stay. Not only were the rooms clean and beautiful, the staff was so friendly and amazing. The restaurant was delicious. We had the autumn risotto, lamb, swordfish, lobster, and pasta and a wonderful Nebbiolo wine. We would highly recommend staying here.
The room was excellent, and mostly, we had a very good stay, but be aware - they prioritize their weddings. So when, at 9:15 on Sunday morning, we were woken up by bagpipes and drums and we called the front desk, we were told there was a wedding going on and there was nothing to be done.
Not the relaxing end to our weekend that we wanted.
