My problem wasn’t with the hotel but with Expedia. My wife broke her ankle just before we left for the hotel. Per the cancellation policy I could only get a full cancellation two days before check-in. After that I would be charged for one night. When I went online to cancel ( just before 1 pm) I was not given the option to cancel because it was checking time at the hotel - check-in time was not until 4 pm. I should only be charged for one night but Very difficult to get actual help from Expedia. The online help just links me to the cancellation policy and no further. HELP!!!!

The resort itself was beautiful. As a family of 5 we really enjoyed them suite, we comfortably fit and did not feel crowded at all. The pool area is beautiful, though a bit chilly. Our only complaint is the food. The bistro unfortunately overcooked our burger and chicken, and messed up our pizza order (0 for 3). The morning breakfast buffet had lots of options, but the egg options were all overcooked and inedible. Our kids would to only eating cereal- and for $10+ per kid that's frustrating. The A La Carte breakfast would hopefully be a better option.

I stayed in the villas and it was nice. My only complaint is that they allow animals and my room was covered in pet hair and dander. My son has allergies and it made him miserable. Staff should really do a better job of cleaning the carpets! Carpets were saturated with pet hair! Clothes and socks were covered in it.

Beautiful property, pool & spa were fun. Would have loved more holiday decorations around though. Our room was spacious & gorgeous. Staff was very attentive and promptly fixed the few minor things we found not working. Very relaxed stay for the two of us. Looking forward to returning with the whole family this summer.

The staff were nice and most were accommodating. I was a little disappointed that I did not receive some kind of token gift for my birthday. We had to switch rooms as there were problems with the television. The wait staff at the Bistro as well as Shy at the front desk were exceptional! The pool was beautiful but did not feel heated. The jacuzzi was wonderful. The resort was clean and decorated for the holidays very nicely. Hot chocolate in the evenings by the fireplace would have been a nice, added touch.
