No ac or comfy bed

Not the most comfortable beds. They have no a/c so they give you fans in each room but those are caked in dust. Pretty gross. That said the staff is accommodating.

The no AC room gets really hot in the afternoon and at early night during summer. You have to open the window and it takes a while to cool the room. I also noticed that the tap water gets brown at times. Overall this place gets the job done if you are only needing a place to sleep

The room wasnt ventilated it was like hot air sruffed in for long time. The room missed basic toiletries. I would recommend this accommodation for 200$ a night. Highly disappointed with both hotel and expedia

Dirty sock next to bed, no ac. “Tahoe sands they leave the fan on for you” Fan in the middle of the room, pillows so big that my neck hurts. Looks like full timers are next store as there were no numbers on the door.

I hope to see all these issues to be addressed.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at this hotel. Upon my late-night arrival, I was left waiting in the dark for someone to provide a key, despite the "OPEN" sign being illuminated. I later discovered a notice instructing guests to pick up keys from a different building. It appears the reception area is merely decorative and serves only to keep the "OPEN" sign lit. Furthermore, I was disappointed to find no coffee, drinking water, or boiled water available for guests. The rooms lacked essential amenities such as teapots, coffee makers, and closets with hangers. Additionally, the comforter in my room appeared to be over 20 years old. ECO Friendly? People were smoking openly on the parking lot and no recycle bins nor Bear Tough Trash Can were avaiable. I hope Tahoe Sands will consider these issues and take steps to improve the guest experience.

Won’t come again

No heater for cool nights. Asked for 2nd blanket and more towels - ignored. Shower hot/ cold reversed. Dark gloomy. No coffee pot in room. Very disappointed.
This is the closet. Bumped head several times in the night on way to bathroom
