We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. The room was pretty spacious for 3 of us. It was amazing that the room has a microwave inside and the hotel offers daily room services (which was rare nowadays) very friendly staff. Definitely will stay there again.

Avoid this place! False advertisement and staffs telling you not to call Expedia when there are issues. This hotel lies to customers about its amenities — it doesn’t open its hot tub during ski season, but says it has it on its own website and Expedia and included multiple pictures. When questioned why it’s not open, their front desk said it’s for concern of “hypothermia for customers”… it’s totally nonsense since the temperature is not even freezing and other hotels in South Lake Tahoe open outdoor hot tub during the ski season. Their front desk was also rude and refused to refund— they even told me not to call Expedia as it’d be a waste of time …(which of course turned out not to be true). Manager is conveniently not available until a few days later.

The AC and the exhaust fan in the room makes a lot of noise.. The AC thermostat doesnt seem to work properly. it had to be manually switched off to avoid overheating
