**What Our Guests are Saying**
"We had a fantastic stay at Terri’s place. The host responded quickly to our questions. She even recommended some great hiking trails! The place was clean and really well laid out. We loved the great room and the big windows made the home very bright. The property was large so we had lots of privacy. We loved the location…in between Algonquin and Huntsville, so we had all the best outdoor activities the area has to offer within a 20 minute drive. We loved our stay and we would come back again! We definitely recommend this place." ~ Angela - Jan 2026
"We are a family of four and so this was the perfect set up for us with both our teenage children getting a bedroom. The instructions were very clear and the kitchen is well organized with everything you might need. We also found the downstairs living area the perfect place to watch a movie at night. Beautiful surroundings and I can only imagine that in the summer, the location by the lake makes this property even more of a top destination. I hope we can return to test that out." Bruce ~ Feb 2026
"The cottage is amazing, everything as promised and more. An excellent winter hideaway with easy access to hiking and snowshoeing trails. Fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare family meals. Spectacular views. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Plenty of parking. Terri provided lots of useful information including Sandhill Nursery's Forest of Light, and her snow removal was timely and top-notch :). We hope to return next winter!" Robert ~ Jan 2026
"We had the best time at this cottage!! My husband and I were here for 8 days with our dogs and I can’t say enough good things! Terri was very helpful and responsive and the cottage itself was truly exquisite! It was so clean…as if we were the first to ever stay there!
The inside is so incredibly comfy and cozy and beautifully designed. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need.
There is so much outdoor seating for dining and just hanging out as well.
This part of the lake is so quiet and quite private as it is a bit further out, but we loved it for that reason. We spent most of our time at the dock and even though the weather was a bit chilly for a few of the days we were there, sitting on the dock with the dogs was still such a delight!
I certainly hope this visit won’t be our last!
Thank you again for hosting us! We appreciate it so much :)" Ellen ~ August 2025
