Staff was super friendly, even remembering us (or more likely our dog!). Room was very clean, bathroom looked like it had been recently updated. (Previous stays had very tired looking bathroom.) Coffee and breakfast bar was actually ready at 6, unlike at other hotels. Coffee was rather good! And actual Half n Half pods were available. Oh, and bonus: they now provide poop bags for picking up after your fur baby. Nice touch! If you go, ask for Rebel, behind the desk. A happy, sweet capuccino colored pitty who wobbles but doesn't fall down (usually), due to a neurological condition. He's a great welcoming comittee of one!

Rooms are minimalist, but clean, and appropriately priced. Staff was welcoming and polite. If you are planning to stay in your room while visiting the Lake George/Glens Falls area then this may not be the hotel for you, but if you want a clean, comfortable, reasonably priced place to keep your “stuff” safe, and lay your head at night, by all means check them out.

It’s an old building because of the pets that allowed in rooms. There’s a urine smell, but we stayed in a room that no pets go in and it was very, very comfortable t the bed it’s just rustic and old in the rooms. I haven’t seen any dirt in my room or bugs. I stayed four days with my son and it was enjoyable. The breakfast was continental. What more can you want.
