Great Family Place in Lake George

We had a great five nights at Marine Vilage Resort in August. The room and grounds were very clean and well maintained, especially for a lakefront motel with a beach. The beach and swimming area were very accessible and with the playground and swimming pool, it made for a great place for kids to play and enjoy. The fire pits were nice at night to sit around. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a very good overall location with so much of the area within easy walking distance.

Lakefront beach and close to everything f!

The location was perfect! We were able to swim in Lake George at their private beach, swim in the pool, play ping pong and sit ariund the fire pit at njgnt. We walked to gift shops, dinner and the arcade. There is no reason to get back in your car, which we love. We can’t wait to return next summer!

Cute family stop at Lake George

Cute place to stop on road trip to see Lake George. Family oriented. Felt like stepping back in time in an old motel but super clean. Right on lake, easy walk to town.

My favorite resort on the Lake

Marine Village never disappoints. It’s the best location on Lake George. The rooms are clean and there have been updates to the property since our last stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is right at the start of the downtown strip so it’s close to the shops and restaurants. It has a great beach area and pool. If I had to pick a negative the water pressure in the showers is very low but overall a great vacation spot!

We stayed in room 53 the curtain was broken didn’t close all the way , the shower head pressure is very low. The only complaint was the floor in our room was dirty our feet were always black. Overall we had a great experience the beds were comfortable, the outdoor patio is great. The views are amazing. Accessibility to the pool and lake are a walk away. Grounds are well kept and clean. We will be returning next summer.

To pricey,could of got another hotel much cheaper.The rooms was small ,at 1am my kids smelled a burnt smell in the room could be the tv maybe it overheated,the water in the tub was taking to long to go down.

We have been staying here for 3 years in a row. The property has gone down in quality since our first stay. Shower dirty and base pan broken on edge. Refrigerator did not get cold even when we turned it way up. Contrary to the paper that was given to me on arrival we were very annoyed at the smokers on the beach. I had to get up and move two times as I couldn’t stand the cigarette smoke. I asked maintenance person and he said it was ok that they smoked on the beach… Location is great but they property needs to be maintained especially with the prices that are charged.
