Plenty of room for all

Traveling with family, total of 11 people - 10 adults and 1 toddler, including pets. The house had plenty of space, two large bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Large family room/ dining room. Large screened in porch where we spent every evening. Walking distance to beach, boat launch and village. Kitchen included everything you need for your stay.

Everything about our three-night stay was wonderful. The house, at the end of a gravel road, was quiet and clean. All needed kitchen appliances were available and in good working order. Short walk to the lake and town center. Would certainly book again.

Perfect for our family

This was our third year of staying here for our extended family summer vacation. The rooms are just as spacious as they appear in the pictures. The weather was great, so we ate most of our meals together on the screened-in porch. Some specifics: The shower on first floor is actually a tub-sized shower with seats. There are many closets, with shelves and hangers and two pantries. There are enough dressers to totally unpack. The grill was a good size. There was a wide assortment of pots, pans, and cooking sheets in the kitchen, more than enough plates, silverware and glasses. You really don’t have to supply anything but your food!

Family Vacation

This was our first family vacation to Lake George with our one year old daughter. We vacationed with our friends and their four children. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable for our group of 9. The house came equipped with all necessary items, including baby gates, which was a HUGE saving grace traveling with infants and toddlers. Carolyn was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions. The walk into town was about 20 minutes ( with children), about 15 without. We loved being close enough to hear the whistles of the boats but far away enough from the loudness of town. We can't wait to vacation in this home again.

Special Celebration

This house was a perfect place for our friends to stay when they joined us for a special anniversary celebration. This home was clean, comfortable and offered places for our group to gather as well as find a quiet place to regroup. The porch was a lovely place to sit after walking down to the lake, the shops or grabbing a snack or drink by the boardwalk. The host was easy to reach and got back to us right away when we had questions before our stay. Having extra bathrooms was wonderful and we appreciated the grab bars. This housei is perfect for a multi-generational gathering. It was a wonderful vacation and we definitely plan to come back.

Location!

Fabulous location in close proximity to Lake George village, beach, etc. We walked all weekend avoiding parking hassles. House was clean and well equipped and communication was prompt.

Great location...clean property

This location was very convenient for us...only a quick 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 10 min walk to downtown. Kept pretty clean. Communication with the owner was impeccable, super quick responses to any questions we had. Would be stocked better (soap/shampoo/etc). Overall very good, will stay here again

Lake George Escape

My family and I had a wonderful time at Lake George. This house had plenty of rooms, beds and bathrooms to accommodate my large family, which consisted of 6 adults and 6 kids (ages 2-9). The dining room and the porch had plenty of chairs to sit all 12 of us in one room. I love that the washer and dryer were on the first floor next to the kitchen. It was very convenient esp with 6 kids. The location was perfect. You can walk to the Million Dollar Beach and to the Mini Ha Ha paddle boat. Carolyn was very helpful and answered all my questions promptly prior to our trip. I would definitely recommend this place to large families.

Great family getaway

Wonderful!

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this property! It is wonderful in every way I can think of: It is very spacious, very comfortable and very clean. We had a family group of 11 and enjoyed dinners and games at one of two long tables, breakfast at a smaller table in the kitchen. It was a perfect place for us. Also it is on a quiet lane and within walking distance from the beach and , if you are a seasoned walker, from the town and other attractions. We would love to go back!

Roomy house, close to everything

This house was perfect for our group of 10. It was on a quiet street but within two minutes of the beach, town and everything else. So roomy and so clean! The owners were easy to contact and responded to any questions within minutes. We would definitely book this house again!

A wonderful family home with a great location

This home is set up perfectly for a family vacation. Plenty of room and beds. We were impressed by how clean it was. The location is tremendous right next to the Battlefield park and a very short walk to the lake or Canada Street. The owners were great and very responsive. We got locked out (completely our fault) and the owner came quick to let us in. They were friendly and not put off by coming to help. We strongly recommend this home for a vacation spot.
