Room was nice and spacious and clean. Unfortunately, the toilet kept running. I didn't get a chance to let anyone know because it was late and we only stayed the night. The staff was nice and courteous. The Waterfront restaurant was terribly understaffed. They had a big party come ahead of us and they only had 2 servers. The staff was apologetic and were so kind, that we didn't mind. Decorations in the lobby were beautiful. I definitely want to come back again.

Black finger prints on entrance and exit doors through the hotel. Our do not disturb sign was also covered in black fingerprints. Missing hanging hand towels in bathroom. Room temperature seemed off, set at 70 at cranking freezing cold air conditioning, turned to heat at 68, then room turned hot a muggy. Broken window seals, sliding windows completely fogged over. Felt like a creepy motel.

We loved the Abbey Resort! Probably our favorite place to stay at when we are in lake geneva. The vibes are so peaceful and beautiful. Must go to Coffee Mill for amazing coffee too!

Waste of time and a bigger waste of money. Spa pricing was not disclosed upfront when asked the only answer I recieved from 3 seperate people was it was $-- per person per day during the stay. Tried hitting us with a exce bill with ludacris pricing on each individual thing we did. Mens sauna was down. Salt room was not good kinda just a room with a single funky looking wall around each corner no kinda seal or closure. Most things in the spa were unavailable. The room was mid with nothing drastically wrong but a bunch of minor inconveniences. They list niceities like an "immersion cinema" and an "arcade". I think the "immersion cinema" is the same tv they use in the rooms its just in a bigger room with a bunch of uncomfortable chairs. The restaurants were closed 7/10 during "open" hours. The arcade has like 10 things and most of them you can find at random travel rest stops in the midwest. We spoke to Tim the manager at the resort about the pricing and he pretty much said "you should've asked upfront" "there is nothing I can do" repetitively. We kept saying how we did ask upfront. I was very clear about having a limited budget and asked repeatedly about pricing when being signed up for things. Honestly, this was supposed to be a little R&R honeymoon we were given a few hundred dollars to fund. R&R ruined with the stress of them wiping our savings. We wouldn't have driven 2 hours to spend 20x more than we could have going to a local spa in IL. Would not recommend

We only stayed one night but we enjoyed the property! The indoor pool was great for our kids (ages 2 and 6) ; very well controlled temperature. The arcade was really small but it was fine for 20-30 min of fun. We had a nice brunch at 240 west on Sunday morning and the views of the lake were pretty!
