"I got this as a surprise gift for my boyfriend’s birthday. Not only was it cheaper than the majority of hotels, but it was clean, cozy, and warm. It really felt like our only little home for the time we were there. The staff who reached out were the nicest people you could ever imagine. They made me feel welcome and appreciated. "We had a wonderful stay with the family and our dog. The house was very clean and instructions on how to use everything was available in a binder. The host contacted us before our stay and made sure everything was set up and prepared. Also checked in with us to make sure we checked in and if we needed anything. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The house is near the lake and the marina. Although we visited in the off season, it looks like it would be very lively and convenient. The fenced in yard was great for our dog and the walking/bike path behind the property winds around the lake shore for a good walk with the dog. Great place for donuts and morning sandwiches just a short walk away. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back when the weather is warmer and the boats are out!"
