The house was clean and nice. However, the exterior yard and balconies had not been cleaned in months it looked like. I had to spend my vacation time de-spidering and cleaning the main balcony, jacuzzi, yard furniture, and surrounding area in the back where the house faces the lake. I also had to purchase spray for the spiders as the kept coming out on our guest, it was disgusting. The jacuzzi, canopy and stairs was full of spider webs that I had to clean off before we attempted to get in. I am a jacuzzi lover and one of the main reasons for picking this house is that it had an outdoor jacuzzi facing the lake. The jacuzzi never worked. We texted the owner about this on Saturday morning upon discovery. He came over late Sunday afternoon to try to fix it but it never worked. He said that he reset it to 104 degrees, we tested it one and two hours later, it never heated. I should not have been charged a cleaning fee for having to clean up myself, plus there should be a discount because the jacuzzi was a main feature for renting this property. Fair is fair.
