Newly renovated motel very chic little one bedroom units. Very close to Lake Cowichan commercial area. We were a cycling group and we all enjoyed our stay here very much. Only reason did not rate the staff is this is a self check in property with no staff.

Rooms face the forest which was very quiet. There were rosevelt elk on the driveway which was a lovely surprise. The room did smell a bit musty and it was quite small, especially the bathroom where the door barely swings by the toilet. It felt safe, quiet, and fairly clean.

The 2 units that we rented for the weekend were bright, clean and equipped with everything we needed. One of the owners was also around periodically, checking in to see if there was anything else required. The only thing I can add…. a mirror on the back of the bedroom door in the suite would be a great addition, three women getting ready and only the bathroom had a mirror. Will definitely stay again.
