This hotel/motel is in need of renovations. We were in 2 different rooms - the first smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking room so we asked to move. The front desk girl’s explanation was that the first room used to be a smoking room. There was a feeling that the room was dirty, due to grunge in and around the baseboards, in the grout in the bathroom, the really old and faded appliances (both microwave and coffeemaker had discolouration and were not what I would call clean), the chipped paint and stained/discoloured ceilings & walls. The linens were clean, and the toilet and tub were probably as clean as they could be for their age, but that’s the qualifier. Property’s one redeeming feature is the free on-site EV charger (2 spots) which was a bonus. It was also lucky for us as the entire parking lot was full and that was the only spot we could have parked (and it was available). Having said all this, the nightly rate was pretty cheap, but I would have happily paid more for a cleaner feeling room/space.

The room was not as advertised or as it looked in photos. It was not a queen size bed but instead a double. There is no conditioner in the bathrooms and as a woman with long hair and travelling all day. It would be nice to have conditioner to wash and have a quick shower. The room went from an ice box to a sauna very difficult to cool down after. I was not very pleased staying at this. Also, the floor can tell that it was not taken care of or damaged as the floorboards were starting to curl up from water damage or something. However, the bed was clean and comfortable, even though it was very small and difficult to sleep when your partner is 6 foot three and took up most of the bed and you couldn’t really sleep or move because it was so small with two of us.

First room was so bad. Old out dated very small and stuffy. AC was broken. Got moved to another room. Big improvement. More typical of a motel basic room. Microwave was broken and an old piece of pizza was discovered inside. Yummy. Continental breakfast was basic. Bread muffins yogurt cereal fruit coffee and juice.
