I was unfortunately disappointed with my stay at *La Casa del Camino*. The first night was extremely noisy — my room faced the street, and I could barely sleep due to constant traffic noise. The bed was also very uncomfortable, which made the night even worse. When I reported these issues, I was initially told that nothing could be done. Only after several hours did they finally move me to another room, which took away a significant amount of my limited vacation time. I also noticed unexpected extra charges on my bill. The amount did not match what Expedia showed at booking, and I was charged additional fees that were never clearly explained. They claimed it was a resort fee, even though I had already paid a resort fee beforehand. Another disappointing point was the rooftop area. Their website did not mention that the rooftop is closed Monday through Wednesday, so when I went up hoping to use it, it was unavailable. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel. The experience was stressful rather than relaxing, and the staff’s attitude did not make the situation any better.

Had 2 rooms, issues experienced: Old hotel, sm rooms, furniture had handles that would pull off, Faust handle had to be held with 2 hands or would come apart, only heating or cooling system was portable, 1 of the 2 rooms didn’t work at all, no local tv unless you brought your own acct and registered it. Roof lounge was nice n good service front desk young man who checked us in should find another occupation, clearly doesn’t like people or assisting customers. Other staff nice n professional.

Very helpful and friendly staff who were dealing with very slow computer problems at check in so some waiting but everyone at front desk, cleaning the rooms and working at the rooftop bar and restaurant were excellent! Thank you! Great to have access to the car park across the street too.

We have stayed here a couple of times. Each time we had an issue with the room, from lights not working, remotes missing batteries, to TV not working. Nothing special is ever offered for the inconvenience each time, even when we had to wait for the handy man to change the light bulbs. Last month we came for our 10 year wedding anniversary and I had emailed the hotel asking if they can do something special to make this memorable for my husband and I as we had a rough year health wise, Never got a response via email nor was there anything special waiting for us as we entered our room. We really could have chose to stay anywhere but the rooftop bar always sells us and the easy access to the beach but I think the 3rd time was not a charm unfortunately and we will not staying here anymore. Such a disappointment.
