The place is cute but the rooms are very small with little privacy. The wifi is so bad that we had to use our hotspots. The staff were lovely, and the location is good which is why I am giving it a three-star. We will not likely stay again.

The Hotel Joaquin is a beautiful hotel in an ideal location. I appreciate the stylish rooms, particularly the spacious bathhouse style shower and tub. Our room, Thalia, did not have an ocean view, so if I was to book again, I would research which rooms have the views I would want.

Loved the room decor and cleanliness. Went to the hotel bar twice. They had great drinks and great service but the second night we heard the guests above us stomping around in the middle of the night and we could hear them talking. Not sure how thick the walls are.

Very nice clean and quiet. Bring personal items for entertainment like an iPad laptop game console and/or small monitor/tv. Was not aware there were no tvs on site or in rooms but I think it helps to enjoy the property more and take everything in with no distractions!
