Relaxing Algarve Holiday

My husband, myself, our daughter and her husband and our son and his girlfriend spent the last week of August at this amazing villa. It is tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac location, but within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beach. The hosts Areta and Andy are lovely and are happy to help in whatever way they can. For us the first request was to have the two twin rooms made up into doubles, which was done without hesitation and did not consist of simple pushing the two beds together, but included the addition of a queen size mattress topper. On arrival we were greeted by both Areta and Andy, who were very friendly and welcoming. They gave us a tour of the villa and provided lots of information about the area both verbally and via an array of guide books and leaflets. The welcome pack provided was fantastic and included milk, bread, eggs, jam, wine (white and red), water and more. The cupboards were also well stocked with essentials like salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar etc. Dishwasher liquid, washing liquid etc were also all there to hand. The villa is lovely and spacious and has all the creature comforts of home. Comfortable beds and well equipped ensuite bathrooms to every bedroom make it a perfect getaway for 3 couples. There are lots of different areas to relax including the roof terrace, the pool side, the garden and with each area offering sun/shade at different times of the day they are perfect for everyone. You can walk to Carvoeiro from the villa, which takes about 25 minutes. You just walk towards the beach and then follow the red footpath until you reach the town. If however, driving is more appealing the journey only takes 5 minutes. There is ample parking at the villa. We parked 3 Fiat Punto sized cars with ease on the property and all behind lockable gates. We loved this villa and would happily return or recommend it to anyone wishing to visit this beautiful area of the Algarve.

Lovely peaceful villa, excellent helpful hosts

Spent a peaceful week in late July at this very clean and well equipped villa. Areta and Andy met us on arrival and provided a generous and helpful welcome pack including bread, jam, cereal, milk, butter, wine and beer, and BBQ coals etc. They also made available basic condiments and herbs which were very much appreciated. Pool is private and a good size, and views from sun roof are excellent (and very private for sun bathing). Air conditioning throughout (even in each of the en suite bathrooms!). Spotlessly clean and well equipped, hosts very keen to help and genuinely interested in making our stay as positive and relaxing as possible. Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance, 10 minute stroll to the beach and 3 minute walk to a well stocked local Spar. Would be happy to return or recommend to anyone visiting the area.
