Aloberge 6 is located in the canal of the Rose des Vents Marina in Lacolle, overlooking the fields and sheltered from the waves. It is a "ready-to-camp with electricity (30 amps) " site. Running water (untested) is available on the docks (unheated) and in the washroom building (heated). Dogs are welcome.
The floating platform measures 12 x 26 feet and is permanently attached to the dock.
The cabin (10 feet x 12 feet) includes:
Sleeping arrangements: Two single benches with slatted bed bases and pillows ( BEDDING OPTIONAL ). One of them can be stretched into a double bed (capacity for 3 people, ideal for 2 ).
Kitchen equipment: Compact fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker (with reusable K-cup) and blender.
Mini electric grill ( FREE OF CHARGE IF EMPTY AND CLEANED BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE ).
Basic tableware for 3 people (including cast iron skillet/wok for barbecues in the picnic area). FREE OF CHARGE IF CLEANED BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE .
Supplementary air conditioning: Small air conditioner mounted high up (limited performance in broad daylight during heat waves). This accommodation is not recommended for people sensitive to intense heat.
Auxiliary heating: small portable electric heater that can also be used as a fan.
Hair dryer and small first aid kit (in one of the bench seat drawers)
Books and documentation about the region and small games (cards or other)
Cleaning products (including everything needed for washing dishes and cleaning the mini grill)

Access to a charcoal barbecue (charcoal not provided)
After accepting the risks, access to adult bicycles is granted ( helmets not provided).
After accepting the risks, access to 8 or 9 different paddle boats (2 tandem pedal kayaks, 2 paddleboards, 2 or 3 canoes, one double kayak, one single kayak) available in good weather until September 21 (opening date of duck hunting on the river).

TO BRING :
Your bedding: Set of single sheets (or double if you plan to extend one of the benches into a double bed), pillowcases, blankets/duvet. Note: As the accommodation is not fully insulated/soundproofed, and the heating is supplementary (small heater), it is strongly advised to bring very warm blankets, especially at the end of the season.
Your towels and shower items for the toilet block.
Your food, coffee and drinking water (tap water from the docks or the toilet block is not tested).
Your briquettes if you prefer to use the charcoal barbecue
Your sunscreen (and mosquito repellent lotion if necessary)
Life jacket for a 3rd person or for a child (mandatory for children under 12 years old on the docks, in the swimming pool and in small boats)
Children's bikes and your own helmets are available for Aloberge's self-service adult bike rental on site, allowing you to explore the Sentier du Paysan trail, located a few kilometers from the marina.
