Staff was attentive to our requests even at a late hour. Access to the upstairs loft was steep. Maybe a bit difficult to navigate at night without shoes. Kitchenette had what we needed for light meals. Sits on Lago Internacional and close to the artisan markets by the Guatemalan border. There are several good restaurant options within walking distance. The owner introduced us to a wildlife guide that took us to some great birding sites.

La cabaña estaba exageradamente sucia, está infestada de cucarachas, arañas, había pelos secos en la coladera de la regadera, un jabón usado en el lavabo, la ubicación muy buena lástima del lugar, no me pareció el precio/calidad pésima pésima limpieza

La cabaña se encontraba con telarañas y arañas en todas partes, pareciera que no se anticiparon a nuestra llegada porque a pesar de hacer el check-in 3 horas después, nos pidieron esperáramos a que “limpiaran” la cabaña. No tuvimos nunca conexión WiFi a pesar de que la cabaña lo anuncia, la anfitriona nos compartió la clave WiFi de otra cabaña pero no llegaba hasta donde nos encontrábamos. Importante mencionar que por la zona no hay señal telefónica y sin internet WiFi complica muchísimo la comunicación.

Las cabañas están bien y el personal muy amable, pero hubieron varios detalles que pueden mejorar, un ventilador por lo menos ayudaría bastante, sobretodo cuando hay calor o por los mosquitos en la noche, y a la mañana siguiente estaban trabajando desde muy temprano construyendo una cabaña a lado y el ruido era muy fuerte, desde antes de las 7 am ya no se podía seguir en la cabaña por el ruido. Los alrededores son bonitos y el lago es hermoso.

El único pero es que no funcionaba el wifi, pero la señora Reina siempre muy amable y atenta. El anfitrión nos respondió pronto y recibió desde un día antes a nuestra reservación. Volvería sin duda.
