Beware!!!

Horrible experience. We have been renting at this resort for 15 years and love it here. This condo was filthy, and not cleaned prior to our arrival. Had to ask property manager to have it cleaned. Dishwasher broken, coffee maker broken, garbage disposal broken, sink plugged up, broken plunger. Stained sheets, maintenance has not been done on this unit in a very long time. Big disappointment! This condo is overpriced and definitely overrated.

The Agony and Ectasy

Everything went well except getting the correct code for the door. I did not know to respond in What’s App so I responded instead in texting. So the owner did not get my responses. Then VRBO sent a code and unfortunately they had the incorrect code. Fortunately, we called our driver in the complex, he returned, called the owner and we were able to get in the building.

Slice of Paradise

Beautiful location, fabulous condo! Our party of 5 had an amazing stay... very comfortable, well-appointed. Beach was pristine. Restaurants at golf course and at pool were great. Being on the island has both advantages and drawbacks, but we found the advantages outweighed the negatives (being tied to a ferry schedule). Wished the grill was working as the fish market was fabulous.

Great Ground Floor Condo

The condo was great and had lots of space for our group. We liked being on the ground floor as it was easy to access the pool and restaurant from our patio. The condo itself was well furnished but the kitchen was not well stocked, several light bulbs were burnt out and the hot water was not working the first few days. We were also given the wrong door code for check-in. That being said, Silvia was very responsive and helped with the immediate needs right away. The Paraiso location was not ideal for our large group. There were lots of logistics required to get into La Paz for activities, sightseeing, dining, groceries. A shuttle or bikes were needed to get to the marina (about a mile) and then the 10 minute boat ride over to the mainland. The pool, tennis/pickle ball courts and restaurant at the resort were great and it's an ideal spot if you're happy to stay put.
