Delightful stay in La Malbaie

Our stay at Auberge La Chatelaine was wonderful. Laurent is a very friendly and engaging host, helping us with our bags and providing good advice on places of interest, restaurants etc. The room we had is well designed and tastefully furnished with very comfortable beds. The daily breakfast was also delicious. Overall, we are very happy customers.

We had a dormer room with sloped ceiling over the bed. The floor and the bed mattress creaked/groaned; there was too much "stuff" in the room, with too little light. Opening the dormer windows (thankfully with screens) helped and provided a nice view of the river, as well as fresh air (no AC). There was loud music from an entertainment venue nearby on one night. The hosts were very nice and the breakfasts were very good.

Un très bon séjour dans cette auberge recommandée dans le Guide du Routard à la Malbaie ! On se sent vraiment comme à la maison avec toutes les pièces qui sont pleines de charme et chaleureuse, et avec du bois de partout ! Nous avons été très très bien accueillis par les hôtes avec qui nous avons beaucoup discuté ! La propreté est irréprochable !!! Nous avions opté pour la chambre familiale qui vient d’être refaite avec tous les équipements nécessaires pour passer un agréable séjour ! Il y a un espace commun au rez-de-chaussée avec une belle cheminée avec des canapés autour pour se poser après une journée de balade ! Et des tables et des chaises pour pouvoir manger avec des couverts à disposition ! Quant au petit déjeuner, il est très bon avec des produits fait maison ! Il manque peut-être du bacon/saucisse ! Nous reviendrons !!!
