I got in late and very tired. At first glance the place was nice and welcoming. The room was spacious. Went right to bed without bothering to look too much. Slept well. Bed was comfortable. Got up early to do some work in the lobby and drink some coffee. The breakfast was really nice, clean and had lots of offerings. Got a call from my daughter's after they woke up, panicking. Apparently there were bed bugs. I asked the desk attendant to come check with me and sure enough, yep bed bugs. The response was quick, they stripped the bedding and we evacuated the room and got dressed in the lobby bathroom. They comped the price of the room, but still.. eeww

It was okay.The pool is small (which wasn’t terrible) but it was super cold. The hot tub was full of the foam which means it needs to be cleaned out. There are pictures of a playground for the kids, but that has since been removed. The hotel keys kept losing access and I know this was happening with multiple guests. We did like the location to downtown and it was in a quiet neighborhood. Would I go back? Yes - I liked the closeness to downtown and to the river.
