We only stayed one night as we are in transition in Kyoto, but this hotel amazed us!!! It is very close to Tokyo station (walking <5 min), facilities are extremely convenient (luggage locker, self check-in), our hotel room was spacious and comfortable. We wished we could spend more time in Kyoto!

Very near to the Kyoto station with lots of food option. Good for us to hurry for early morning Shinkansen ride to Tokyo. Breakfast time starts at 6:30am and is awesome but please allow yourself time to enjoy it.

Room was small but expected that. Bathroom was a bit cramped but I loved the shower! And everything else was perfect. They cleaned the rooms every day, changed bedsheets every 3 days unless you put a sign out for them to do it sooner. Outstanding experience.

Overall good. Only complaints are that our Superior Room was not at all sound proof as it advertises; you can hear very clearly what is outside and what is inside. Also, bathroom shower curtains smelled like mold. Otherwise, everything was great especially the food for breakfast and dinner (dinner also costs about 100 USD and isn’t with any package, but was very fancy)

The only thing I didnt like is during check-in the staff just directed me to self check-in right away. After checking in she didnt explain anything and got me lost what to do next. I would recommend that they should at least ask if there’s anything they could assist. They are very lacking on that part in the hotel.

Our room wasn’t the most spacious, but it had everything we needed. They have a nice little grab-and-go essentials like toothbrush, tea and coffee. This is a great option for people who want to stay super close to the Kyoto station for ease of transit into the city center or taking the Shinkansen to Osaka or Tokyo.
