What an excellent stay. This was more than a hotel, it was an experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto. The rooms were large and clean, the lobby offered some unique options and the staff were so kind.

Spacious room/living area, perfect for longer stays. Thank you for introducing us to Kyo bancha tea. We appreciated the special amenities (carbonated water, snacks) and the origami. The washer and dryer system is new to us and was challenging, even with Google translate and Lens, but we managed.

Room was clean and spacious for 3 people. I have stayed in many different Tokyu Stay locations throughout Japan, specifically because of laundry machine inside the room. Its absolutely convenient. Staff was so kind, helpful, and welcoming. I stayed here last year, prior to the remodel, so it was definitely nice to see the new changes. Definitely coming back!

The room was great- biggest we had in our Japan travels & the washer/dryer was a great bonus!! My only complain was the breakfast was very basic- not many options & no variety. Very close to the metro which was also very convenient.

We stayed at Hanare by Tokyu Stay for about 6 days. We found the property to be very nice. We love the refreshments that were offered, the breakfasts that were included even though it wasn’t onsite. The location was convenient and close to public transportation. The rooms were spacious and clean.
