Everything shopping was walking distance. Safe to walk around and find all the things you wanted and didn't know you wanted. Very clean and everything was easy and convenient to get to, whether by Taxi or bus. The hotel itself was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helped with what ever was needed. Will definitely stay again when I return to Kyoto.

Love the water station and ice machines. The bathroom is small but functional and really nice bath tub. Room looks clean and bed very comfortable. Pillows a little hard! Staff on the weekend were not as friendly as we expected- coming from another hotel from Kanazawa.

Staff are very friendly and helpful towards foreigners. The public bath is kept impressively clean. Location is near loads of restaurants and convenience stores. Walkable distance to downtown. The only small complaint is about the WiFi. In the evening it is extremely slow and unreliable. Had to constantly reconnect.
