Clean throughout, helpful staff, breakfast bar has a large variety of food and is worth the room rate. We didn’t see nor use the public baths, hence not sure the quality but it’s nice that the hotel has one. The 7-11 across the street is a plus. There are numerous restaurants all within a few block radius. It’s a nice business oriented area. There are two subway lines nearby which made the location very easy to get anywhere else. There isn’t a comfortable lounge nor garden to hang out in and the hotel lobby is small. If you plan to be out all day and want a comfortable place to sleep and a pre-adventure breakfast, then this hotel is excellent for that.

Good hotel for the price. We had booked for a family and actually expected to be all on the same floor. With kids that makes is more convenient, but even if the booking was placed 10 months ahead we were placed on 2 floors. But in general its a great place. Central in the city and easy to dive into the city life

My husband and I stayed here for four nights and had a wonderful experience. There's a metro station around the corner, a convenience store across the street, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The property is well positioned between several areas of interest, making it easy to explore the Kyoto. The hotel offers complimentary bicycle rentals, which we used twice to enjoy the neighborhood and Kamogawa Park. Our room was clean and comfortably sized. The staff were friendly and helpful with many things, including takkyubin service.

Loisir was close to a train station and a lot of local restaurants. We enjoyed the cafe and restaurant across the street. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel!

This place was affordable and had everything we needed for our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful and kind throughout our visit. The laundry room could be improved (but not complaining, i'm glad it had one) — there are only three washers and three dryers, so it’s best to plan ahead and have coins ready, as washing and drying can take some time. The location was convenient, close to the station and right across from a convenience store. Overall, a good value for the price and a pleasant place to stay!

This hotel was bigger than any of the other hotels we stayed at in Tokyo and was around the same price. It was modern, the public bath was great and the breakfast buffet was amazing! Very close to the train station and busses and staff was very helpful and spoke English very well. Overall great stay!

Sorry to say the property is dated and amenities are lacking. Normally this wouldn't be a problem since we mostly use the hotel for sleeping and showering/bathing, but both were unsatisfactory. Hard bed, lumpy pillows, thin & rough towels, tiny tub. Too bad. However, the location was excellent. The garden is very beautiful. The staff were nice. Would not stay here again and definitely would not recommend.

The hotel was located in an excellent location. 7 min walk away the famous market and 2 min walk to a train station. Good sized room. The only feedback is probably needing more washing machine/dryers as there was a bit of a wait. Hotel is a bit older but clean and excellent value.
