Great location, helpful and seasoned staff (unlike many establishments in Japan that are run by children). It is not a new or modern hotel but everything is well kept and the rooms were comfortable. I would stay here again.

Well located with an exceptionally attentive staff. what really sets this property apart is their incredible housekeeping staff who actually anticipate your needs by what you use in your room. Complimentary water and daily English language newspaper was also a nice touch. Another convenience was the underground Kyoto subway station connected to the hotel together with a shopping mall! Elegance and service at a reasonable price!
