The staff were always very happy to help. The room was clean and in perfect condition throughout our stay. Although the location is not as convenient as others for traveling by train or bus, there is a shuttle bus available and plenty of taxis if you don’t want to walk or wait.

One of the best hotels that i stayed and especially its staff and services, a truely 5-star hotel. The room is very large and clean. The breakfast both the Japanese style and western style restaurants were excellent, both the food quality and services. The shuttle bus to from the subway station is great, it is running like a clock, not missing a second. The location is right next to the imperial palace and close to some top attractions in the west side of Kyoto. Highly recommended.

Clean room, 5 restaurants but limited options, limited times to eat, limited English speakers. The place is a bit stuffy, shiny but few amenities. Not good in room coffee, no pajamas in our room but clearly being placed in other rooms, not sure if it’s by request or…. It was over $400 usd per night, not worth the cost, not close to much
