We stayed in a traditional 6 tatami mat room sleeping on a futon on the floor. We found it is not for everyone. Had to ask for two more futons to be comfortable. A wonderful experience nonetheless.

This was our first time in a ryokan, and we really enjoyed it. We found the staff very helpful. Their English was excellent, which was helpful, since our Japanese is limited. We only ate one Japanese breakfast in the hotel, but it was tasty. It was a great location, convenient to many places of interest.

The room was very clean. The hotel was very nicely located. The amenities at the hotel were very accommodating. The staff was very polite and friendly. It's a very traditional looking hotel inside and I loved the decor. Breakfast was delicious and you have a choice between a traditional Japanese breakfast or American. Wuite delicious. A+++ I would definitely stay there again.
