This place is a cute and quaint boutique hotel. The rooms are super clean and modern. We stayed in room 202 hada side tinted window but was so new inside. Loved tne shower and the fact the toilet bowl had a seperate door. It is close to the main stripe and you can walk anywhere close by.7-11 right around tbe corner.

Very pleasant stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The complimentary longe was a nice touch. The only minor issue was with the humidity level in the room and the hardness of the bed.

Staff were excellent, very helpful. It also helped that they speak English. Room was very clean. Enjoyed the lounge where snack and drinks were provided. Plenty of things to do in Kyoto. We spent a day around the Arashiyama area, a day in Gion, etc. If you have a spare day, I would recommend going to Nara for a day.

The boutique hotel was a much needed respite after our days in Tokyo. It was clean, quiet and spacious. We made use of the washer and the lounge. It was conveniently located to busses and subways.

The General Kyoto Bukkoji is a calm and serene property. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are as well. The guest area is super for afternoon snacks and a glass of wine. The hotel is in central Kyoto so handy to everthing. Excellent value for money - a wonderful hotel
