Loved the location of this hotel. Beautiful view of the castle. We were within walking distance of downtown but a little off the main street so it was a bit quieter. The hotel had a really nice traditional breakfast every morning. The staff was super helpful and polite. Very very helpful in finding things around Kumamoto. I really enjoyed my time in Kumamoto. My family had a great stay in a castle-view room. It was spectacular! The location cannot get better, with major malls and restaurants less than 700 meters away. The staff was very courteous. What a refreshing change from all these unattended/automated hotels.

The rooms with a view of the Kumamoto Castle are amazing at night as well as day. One of the Top 3 castles in Japan is literally across the street from the hotel. The all you can eat breakfast buffet had the best Japanese selection. Parking was easy without having to go to the basement.
One of the Top 3 castles in Japan, Kumamoto Castle is a must visit.
