The Space:

Kas Kris offers a bright, well-connected indoor-outdoor layout across three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a fully equipped open kitchen.



Each bedroom has a king-size bed. The living room flows to the covered veranda, terrace, private garden, and a generous pool deck. The kitchen overlooks the pool toward Klein Bonaire and is equipped with a cooktop, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee maker, electric kettle, and ice maker.

Guest Access:

As a guest of Kas Kris, you have access to the entire home: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, the living room, and all outdoor spaces including the private garden, covered veranda, terrace, and pool deck around the private pool. There is a private entrance, plus free parking on the premises or on the street.



To give every guest a warm welcome and share useful information about Kas Kris and the island, all arrivals are handled in person. The Sunwise hosts will coordinate arrival details with you ahead of time.



The Neighborhood:

Kas Kris is situated in Santa Barbara, a hillside neighborhood on the north side of Kralendijk, behind the historic saliñas. Thanks to the slightly elevated position, parts of the area offer lovely vistas toward the sea and Klein Bonaire. It is a quiet, residential area with quick access to northern snorkel and dive sites and the route to Washington Slagbaai National Park. Comfortable, peaceful, and easy to reach.



Kas Kris is approximately 4 kilometers from Zhung Kong supermarket, 4 kilometers from Dive Friends Den Laman dive center, 3 kilometers from Isidel Beach Park, 5 kilometers from the center of Kralendijk and 5 kilometers from Cuba Compagnie restaurant.



Sunwise insider tip: For underwater lovers, Bari Reef and Isidel Beach Park are great picks. Bari Reef, by Den Laman/Sand Dollar, is famous for exceptional fish diversity: according to REEF, more than 300 species have been recorded here. It is a very accessible shore dive and snorkel site with often calm water and plenty of reef activity. Isidel Beach Park is a relaxed seaside spot to wind down afterward, watch the sea, and end the day in Caribbean style.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Kas Kris. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Kas Kris is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations, and we kindly ask you to keep noise down at night. Enjoy your stay at Kas Kris!
