Nice staff and good for a budget stay

I was a bit sceptical of the high star rating because there were so few reviews, but after spending a night here I was very satisfied. When you stay in Chungking Mansions you expect to have a small room, and a shower in the toilet, but often the staff are rude and unaccommodating. The staff at iTop Guest House were very chilled and friendly. The rooms were clean and the sheets were new. I did have to run between 2 blocks within the building to get from where reception is supposed to be and where it really is, but it wasn't really that much hassle and the staff were so cool it made up for it. One of the best guest houses I have stayed in in Chungking Mansions (and I have stayed in quite a few!) Only good if you are on a budget holiday and your room is not that important to you.

Cockroach Heaven / 바퀴벌레 천국

If you don't mind sleeping with cockroaches, this is a great option for a low price. 바퀴벌레와 함께 자도 문제없다면 저렴한 가격에 혹해서 선택할 수도 있는 곳이다. 1. Going to sleep with the lights on, killing about 10 cockroaches every night. 매일 10여마리의 바퀴벌레를 때려잡으며 블을 켠 채로 선잠에 청함. 2. I was forced to pay 10% of my reservation as a daily room cleaning charge and never received a single cleaning service (for 3 nights). 매일 룸 클리닝차지로 숙박예약비의 10%를 강제로 받아갔음에도 청소 서비스를 하루도 받은적이 없음(3박동안) 3. No room in the room for a carrier, so I keep it on the side of the bed. 방에 케리어를 놓을 공간이 없어 침대 한켠에 올려두고 생활함. 4. The driveway to the property is in a busy neighborhood like Little India, so only one who have heart of lion can access it. 숙소 진입로가 리틀인디아와 같은 복잡한지대에 있어 강심장만 출입 가능. 5. Despite this, prices are among the lowest in Hong Kong 그럼에도 불구하고 가격은 홍콩 최저가 수준
