After reading some reviews I was a bit worried about staying here, but honestly we we had a fabulous stay here. A large group of us stayed for 11 nights and were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We were given connecting rooms with direct access to the lower pool. The rooms were very large, the air con great and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The room service was quick and easy, the food was tasty and the pool bar was lovely. They are doing the hotel up in stages, but we couldn’t fault it. All the staff were amazing, really friendly and very helpful. We had a small issue with a leak in one of the bathrooms and called reception and people turned up within in minutes to fix it - this is just one example of how great the staff were. Yes, as some reviews have said it’s on the older side, but we loved our time here. It’s away from the main hustle of the centre which was perfect for us as we could walk down the beach if we wanted to. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We recently stayed at The Briza Resort and Spa in Koh Samui and had such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service provided by Ken and his team was nothing short of fabulous. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, and their warm, friendly approach made us feel so welcome. Everyone at the resort was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, always ready with great recommendations on where to eat and what to see around Koh Samui. We booked a two-bedroom villa, which was extremely spacious and well equipped — perfect for a family stay. The comfort and practicality of the villa made it easy to relax and enjoy our holiday. If we had to mention any downsides, it would be that the beds were a little on the hard side and you couldn't walk straight out to a beach. That said, these were very minor points compared to the overall experience. The affordability of the resort, combined with the excellent service and lovely atmosphere, made it an outstanding choice for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Briza Resort and Spa and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Samui.

The staff here are amazing. All of them are lovely. They need a greater food and drink selection. Also they really need to knock down the unused huts near the beach area and build an infinity pool with a proper bar area there for bar snacks/dinks. This would pull in a lot of business from the beach. Need to resolve the entry exist points to the beach. The rusty ladder has to be replaced with a better permanent solution!
Remove these unused huts and put in place an infinity pool with a decent bar/restaurant. Leave plenty of area for sunbeds!

Very nice stay!

A very nice hotel right on the beach. About 15mins walk to the larger shopping area around Chaweng but nice and quiet here. There are still a few nice restaurants close by, Blue Turtle at the beach is good and there is a fire show every night. Avoid Your Place, food is horrible and service worse! The actual hotel is good, not luxurious but very comfortable and the staff are all very welcoming. One disappointing thing was with one of our rooms. We had a 2 bed villa but the second bedroom was not nearly as good as the primary one, I had expected them to be the same.

Meget ringe og slidt standart. Der var ikke gjort ordentlig rent og de havde kun gjort klar til 4 personer til trods for at vi havde booket til 5. 2 dage før hjemrejse var der også forsvundet ting fra vores værelse. Faciliteterne på hotellet var virkelig ringe. Og så var det total overpris. Meget skuffende.

We had a wonderful relaxing day at Briza beach resort staff were amazing. Everybody was so friendly and professional Ken the manager was amazing very great guy Ammy was very friendly and a very hard worker Pat or Patricia cooked the most wonderful eggs I’ve ever had in any restaurant anywhere in the world. I recommend any Aussie family or couples or friends staying together. You have to get down to the Briza great rooms delicious buffet breakfast very good price and wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. Thanks very much for a great day to the team at.briza beach resort we will be back thanks guys

An average stay

After staying in the Prana resort for the first week which was lovely, we arrived here for our second week. The duplex was by a pool and was big and spacious but very old and tired as was the whole resort. The staff as with most thai people were warm and welcoming. The place just needs modernising and the two pool areas have very limited sunbathing areas so we ended up sitting on chairs on our patio which wasnt great. The pool had sand in for a week and cleaning was fishing leaves out and chucking chlorine in. The pools need to be near the beach to enjoy the views as at present there is an untidy sunbathing area which is not appealing. Overall ok but would not return.

On a pris un duplex donnant sur la piscine, logement très confortable , spacieux tout confort, récemment rénové . On a eu quelques petits soucis mais le service technique était très efficace. Le petit déjeuner était correcte, les personnels sont accueillants. Le seul point négatif c’est la plage ( petite et il y a beaucoup de rochers. )

Had stayed here in 2018. Gardens and buildings well kept. Some rooms fabulous sea view. Lots of options along beach for eating.Not far from central Chaweng. Just small niggles, alot of steep steps. Pool small and enclosed. No guests at sunbeds, yet ran out of towels. Ant problem in room, safe not secured in wardrobe, room service food carried uncovered. All fixable...except the stoney entry into sea. Long hike in shallow water for a swim..but it looks beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Briza. The rooms were spacious with a lovely view. The bathrooms especially were our favourite part - very clean. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff friendly. Its located close to many restaurants and 7/11.
