Good for a spur of the moment trip

Staff was friendly, the room was sufficient. I liked the sink being outside of the bathroom to help get ready in the morning. It's time for a full renovation. While the rooms were in good shape, the hallways and elevator looked "well loved"

There were stains on all the carpets around the hotel and the walls have massive cracks. Ice machines didn't work on my floor. Stinkbugs on curtains. Sheets had visible stains. This hotel has been trashed by rowdy guests over the years and needs massive refurbishment.

Not what I ordered or wanted.

First floor with patio. No furniture on patio. Spider in a webb behind the bathroom door. More spiders in the corner, above the exit door, out to patio. I reserved a PREMIUM double queen room, and I guess we got is what Clarion’s version of what they think that is. We were a late check-in, due to activities in Pigeon Forge. When we arrived, we heard the concierge telling some people they were booked to capacity. (We later verified this as well, because we wanted to leave, but we could find nowhere else nearby to stay.) Apparently, we got the overflow room that may also serve possibly as a storage room. There was no desk or chair in the room, just the dresser cabinet. I will say that the lobby was clean, and the breakfast was good as well. Also, the concierge was very friendly. We were so tired. We just got in and out, but that room is definitely not what we were expecting. Very disappointed, and we will never return.

Gym was Ok. Would have liked a leg weight machine. Pool was excelent. Breakfast needs another waffle machine, and no leave the tables tipped off in the afternoon. It doesn't look good.

The property was dated and repairs were needed. The room was comfortable (including a faux fireplace) but the drapery, carpet and shades were in need of replacing. Our door was not square with the frame and needed to be replaced. For one night on a roadtrip ok but will not return unless major renovations take place.

For what I needed the room for, the stay was fine. Overall, the hotel was old and needed updating, it was also very humid in the room and hotel. Bathroom was old and I did see a cockroach in there. The walls are pretty thin…I could hear everything the neighbors were doing/saying. The bedding/beds were clean and the breakfast was good though.

Overall the building was in very good condition. You can see some of the age of the building in the hallways and doors with the carpet in the hallways and the paint on the doors.

I was not thrilled about a weird stain on the side of the bed. Also the pool area the door entry from kids pool to indoor pool is very slippery my son slipped and fell. He is ok but if an elderly steps here it will not be good. Its on the plastic white strips right at the door area. Very dangerous. In the fridge something gross was in the freezer area so definitely not been cleaned.

Very nice. The hotel and room were clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. Everything worked as it should. Clean bathroom. Breakfast was no better or worse than other hotels in this price range. The nightly rate was less than I would expect for a place this nice. We will be back
