Great experience! Impressed by the facility and services by the staffs. We arrived Arima Onsen by bus, I happen to saw the hotel bus was outside, and the staff was so pleasant to pick us up. By the way, bus station and nearby tourist information center all provides free call service for you to request hotel pick up. During our 2 days stay, we used hotel’s free shuttle service to town and to the Rokko Ropeway. Really impressed by staffs great help! Breakfast was very generous. They delivered the whole set to our room. Free drink at the lobby all day. Laundry facilities is very clean! I booked premium Japanese room. Only to find out that my 80+ mom had hard time to get down and up. The front desk staff help me to switch to a Japanese & western room. The room is very good size in Japanese term. Clean and comfortable. I do not need room cleaning the next day, but the staffs still provide us with a new Yukata and new water bottle. The best of all, is the onsen. This hotel has 8 private onsen, with the famous silver and gold hot spring. Clean and good size, with green hill view. My mom’s shoulder pain is relieved after soaking. Magical spring!

We had a wonderful time at Taketoritei Hotel Maruyama. Shuttle service was outstanding. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Room with open air Onsen we stayed was very spacious, clean, comfortable. Open air Onsen was beautiful and quiet. Enjoyed very much. Dinner was phenomenal, and the breakfast was delicious as well. Hospitality was just beyond my expectations. We highly recommend this place.

I had a lot of luggage, but more people helped me with my luggage first and checked out, and thank you so much for leaving a good impression on my mom and travel. This was the second time my husband and I stayed here but this time I brought my family and friends. 9 of us total. I communicated with Justin via email and he was so accommodating with my requests. It was even nicer that I got to meet him in person when we checked in. We love the private onsen in our room and that we can also reserve the public ones as well Atmosphere is so relaxing. So far we have gone to 4 or the 8 you can reserve so we will need to return again to try the others. I left my phone in the onsen and the gentleman ran back to get it for me. I'm sorry I didn't get his name but he is always smiling, tall and wears glasses. We opted for breakfast together and they gave us a private room with a beverage bar just for our group. Next time we will do kaiseki dinner there as everyone enjoyed the breakfast. Thank you for the great service from you staff!

It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy hot springs with the best service. The staff were very helpful and respectful. We had a wonderful time there!

Hotel shuttle is very convenient as it drove us to and from town as needed (pick up/drop off from bus station, restaurant, etc). Private reservable onsens were very nice!

Pricey but I love the fact that you can go to 8 private onsen This was our second time staying here. We have tried 4 of the outside onsen and find it very peaceful. The staff is outstanding. You can get a shuttle to and from the town. They even pick your luggage up for you if you wish. The breakfast is fulfilling and tasty as well. The staff makes this place perfect.
