Clean and quiet. Across the street from the airport with a shuttle service there and back. The Candlewood Cupboard needs to have a greater selection of frozen meals.

The hotel had great parking. Check in was easy. Erica was professional and friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed including a small kitchen. The wake up call was on time as was our 430 shuttle service. Great place, across from the airport.

There was a huge bug in my room, the bathroom door didn’t close. The kitchen drawer wouldn’t stay closed. It has seen better days. It looked nothing like the pictures. I had to wait for the clerk to return from picking somebody up and when she came in with the other person, instead of asking me if I was checking in, she checked in the other lady and afterwards asked if I was checking in. She wasn’t friendly or apologetic about over looking me. When I checked out, the morning staff had me waiting also, but she did apologize and was very friendly.

Our dishwasher had caked detergent on bottom. Bathroom fan was not working. These were eventually repaired (after 4 days of notifying staff). While we appreciated them getting these items fixed, we were there for business & it was not convenient trying to get ready in a steamy bathroom. The manager, Liz? was relentless in trying to get fixed for us, in fact, I think they actually had to take a fan from another room, as they didn't have parts available.

The staff was excellent. They need a better housekeeper or follow up on the person to ensure cleaning is beyond average. The tub to the shower wasn't cleaned. I didn't report it as it was a late check in and I was ready to get in and out. Thankfully I use shower shoes. Also, one of my pillow cases had red hair dye left on it, not from me. Lastly, the elevator floor remained dirty the entire weekend, that's not a good thing.

Normally I would not comment if only 1-2 issues, but several items (maintenance related mostly) did need addressed... First, on the positive side: room decor was modern & lovely; the bed was very cozy... a bag of trash had been left under the kit sink, along with a drink in the fridge; #2) the glass in bathroom wasn't wrapped and when I inspected it closer, it had obvious residue of having been used; #3) the ice machine in freezer didn't work; #4) the mini microwave smelled like it might be close to catching fire when ran only 1 minute in am to warm coffee; and finally #5) the room I was given was directly across from guest laundry and the noise of the door latching as people accessed the area was somewhat annoying, although I tried to buffer the noise by placing a rolled towel along door base and slept with ear plugs. (I know to request a quieter room location in the future!) *items#1-3 were reported to the front desk attendant upon departure.
