"The staff are very professional, friendly, and helpful. The buffet breakfast is truly excellent -- SO much variety and abundance. (It would be great if they offered a few more alternatives for people with lactose intolerance or vegans, ie. plant-based (like soy) yogurt and milk (soy, almond, cashew, or oat, for instance.) And I wish they had real orange juice instead of the unhealthy orange drink.) However, our stay was great. A very classy and upscale hotel."

"Hotel room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Hotel offered free valet parking. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was close to places to eat. I had no issues during my stay. "

"Positive points: breakfast included (wasn't amazing but nice to have if you're more budget-minded); relatively sheltered from the restaurant/club noise from the nearest street; excellent central location; the room and hotel itself were very clean and well looked after. Negative points: randomly one afternoon the shower stopped working; the walls are pretty thin so if your neighbours are talking on the phone etc. then you will definitely hear them; the room had a faint (but noticeable) smell of cigarettes, although I admit this isn't uncommon in Turkey; the wi-fi was *very* intermittent - clearly not able to handle a high number of simultaneous connections. Overall I would probably try a different hotel if I visited Ankara again, but if all you're after is a basic place to stay and don't plan on spending much time at the hotel, the Bukaviyye is perfectly adequate."
