The room smelled like mold, there was mold around the tub and tile. You can tell the housekeeping staff didn't clean it . The General Manager made me wait to address my concerns with room keys and his stupid dog was barking at me the whole time. I have dogs but don't bring them to work. The young lady who worked during the day , her customer service was outstanding. She needs to be running the hotel.

Listing says room has coffee maker but there was none although there were coffee cups! No ice bucket! There was rarely anyone at the front desk and when i finally found someone to request a coffee maker i got somewhat of an attitude. When we requested clean towels we were keft 2 bath towels that were frayed; the wash clothes and hand towrls were not replaced and the dirty bath mat was not replaced. When we asked for hand towels and toilet paper we were given 1 thin hand towel and a role of TP. The bed and pillows were comfy and air worked well. There was a table and 2 chairs whjch were nice. The GM parks his car under the covered area in front of the lobby and was observed waxing his car there and hanging out with non-guests.

My issue was the smell of weed in the office, a little dog barking at me in the office. Getting locked out of my room because the keys stop working and no one in the office. Called the number and no answer. Had to wait for the lady to come back and make me a new key. They need to fix or update their keys since there is no one on property after midnight.

The proprietors are doing the best they can here. It’s an old motel. The rooms are basic, but clean, and the beds comfortable. The area felt sketchy. At 2 am there was a crazy man out on the street screaming angrily at who knows what. This went on long enough for me to look up the phone number of the Kingston PD, but gradually he passed. I would not recommend it unless you’re desperate.

Plumbing and Breakfast Issues

Check in was great and the lady at the desk was amazing. The room was not as great because the toilet would not flush. When we went to the front desk to ask for a plunger, were told by the man there that it won't help and they are aware of the problem. When we went to breakfast in the morning, I couldn't get the keurig to work, the juice was room temp, and there was a sign at the front desk saying they would be back but nobody was there the entire time we were there for breakfast.

The help on the 1st of three days waa good. The help on the other 2 was non-existent. The curry they were cooking smelled great but they werent around. Toilet in the bathroom is not bolted to the floor

We had a non smoking handicap room that had a dirty broken toilet seat. It had been smoked in(I am asthmatic) and had issues from it. There was actually mold & mildew on the ceiling. Another issue with having asthma. The room was damp to the point where our items and clothing got wet, even our meds in pill containers. The microwave had food stuck to the inside top. Breakfast, another story. I would really think that as a spokesperson for motel, you would check into it. Makes you look real bad. The ONLY GOOD, the shower was clean with great water pressure. The bed was clean (but damp) and mattress comfortable. The rug was so dirty, you couldn’t walk to the bathroom from bed without washing your feet before getting back in. Will NEVER get a room again this way. We run an AIRBNB and would NEVER put our place up for customers like this was. We get between $200. & $300. a night depending on season. It’s 11 rooms. We are Totally disgusted.

The room was clean and tidy. The bed was a little hard but not so bad I couldn’t sleep on it. The lobby was the wettest little area. The decor was so cute. I could tell a lot of thought went into it. The only other complaint was there was only one towel in the bathroom and no washcloths. Still for the price I think it was a good value!

The Super 8 is very well managed and their manager has decorated the main office as if you feel like home, when you enter into their breakfast area. Good positive signs are on the wall, nice TV that keeps you updated with the weather and traffic conditions early morning while having your breakfast. The staff is very welcome and make you feel home.
